May 2 – 6 is Teacher Appreciation Week and we are so excited to celebrate you! After two-plus years of educating from home, hybrid learning, and disruptions due to the pandemic, I am immensely grateful to each of you for your dedication to our children. As we are turning the curve and approaching normalcy again, I want to thank you for being a consistent presence in our children’s lives.
Southeastern Community Action Partnership is a Community Action Agency and that means that we are dedicated to providing access to equitable education for low-income families. I know that you don’t take that responsibility lightly – you have engaged our children’s families, the community, and more to make sure that we provide a world-class educational experience for the children and families we serve.
Our agency would not be able to serve our children if it were not for each of you, from our teachers and teacher’s assistants to our drivers and kitchen staff. You all play a vital role in the education of our children and help shape their worlds. I’m grateful to lead a talented group of individuals who are dedicated to Community Action!
Happy Teacher’s Appreciation Week! Enjoy your activities and celebration!

Head Start Director
