Syreeta Shaw serves as CSBG Director for Southeastern Community Action Partnership’s Piedmont Region, overseeing Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) operations in Chatham, Durham, Orange, and Randolph counties. With nearly two decades of experience in Community Action and human services, she brings extensive expertise in program administration, strategic planning, grant compliance, community engagement, and organizational leadership.
Throughout her career, Syreeta has successfully managed multi-county programs, led cross-functional teams, and developed initiatives designed to strengthen families, promote self-sufficiency, and improve community outcomes. Her experience includes experience in weatherization and affordable housing programs and capital project management.
As SCAP expands Community Action services into the Piedmont Region, Syreeta is focused on building strong local partnerships, engaging residents, and ensuring services are responsive to the unique needs and strengths of each community. She is passionate about creating opportunities that empower individuals, strengthen families, and support thriving communities.
