From the Director’s Desk FESS Updates
Kathleen Lowe-Jacobs
The Family empowerment self-sufficiency program (FESS) has gotten off to a great start this fiscal year. We have 4 new intake positions, and three of those are filled. We also have an Eligibility Quality Assurance Specialist.
These new positions will create a smoother enrollment process for the customers we serve in our seven counties. These specialists will also attend community events, create partnerships, and go into the communities where our service centers may not be located. Our goal is to serve 325 families and we are ready to exceed that goal!
Spotlight
FESS would like to spotlight 3 of our customers Dee Mitchell, Cher Swaggerty, & Kimberly Daigneault.
They have been excellent customers and took the opportunity to apply for the Intake Specialist positions. Each of them met the qualifications and did great on their interviews. These
three have worked with their case managers to create an action plan and meet the needs towards obtaining self-sufficiency.
Welcome aboard to all of them and we look forward to assisting them with accomplishing all their goals of being self-sufficient!!!
