A servant-leader with a servant’s heart for others, Ms. Cynthia Foskey is the Executive Administrator for Southeastern Community Action Partnership. With over 26 years of experience in community and non-profit sector work, Ms. Foskey holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management.
I came into the agency in August 1994 as a teacher at Laurinburg Head Start Center. I enjoyed working with young children and watching children blossom by reaching milestones. I individually tapped into the potential of every child that was in my classroom over my 5 ½ years there. When the opening came for a Program Specialist, I applied because I believe that every child has the right to free and appropriate education. I have been in my position since January 2000 and in this role, it is my goal to ensure that every child that has any identified educational need receives follow-up and a plan. I believe in equal rights for all children with disabilities and suspected needs such as caring for oneself and performing manual tasks, seeing, hearing, walking, lifting, speaking, thinking, and communicating.
